What Is

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)?

Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a type of heart disease. While not uncommon, PAD is often under-recognized and under-treated in women, who are more likely to present with the disease 10-20 years later than men. For many women, the journey to a PAD diagnosis and treatment may involve various doctors, lack of information and dealing with additional health concerns at the same time.

How We

CAN HELP YOU

1.

CONSULTATION

The patient will come into Cardiovascular Solutions of Central Mississippi to be seen by Dr. Fakorede and at this appointment he will do a full assessment of the patient, and review all diagnostic imaging the patient has had prior to seeing him. If there has been no diagnostic imaging performed then he will order appropriate tests based on patient symptoms. He will also explain the procedure to the patient and also order lab work if needed to ensure patient safety.
